Property worth Rs.70l attached in terror-related case in Baramulla
Srinagar, Aug. 10 -- In an 18-year-old militancy related case, police in Baramulla have attached properties worth Rs.69.82 lakh.
Police said that continuing its sustained efforts against elements involved in unlawful and anti-national activities, Baramulla police today secured an attachment order from the NIA court, Sopore, under Sections 2/3 EIMCO Act, 120-B & 121 RPC and 13 UAPA Act."The attachment order pertains to land measuring 12 kanal 01 marla and 73 Sq. Ft. belonging to accused Parvaiz Ahmad Famda of Kawhar Bala, Chandoosa. The property has been valued at Rs.69.82 lakh, and the requisite valuation certificate has also been obtained," the spokesman said adding that in the same case, police obtained an arrest warrant from the NIA court against another accused, Abdul Rashid Bhat of Rajpora. htc...
