Panchkula, Sept. 14 -- DC Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 7 organised a one-day Capacity Building Programme (CBP) on 'life skills' for teachers. The session was conducted by two experienced resource persons, Gurinder Pal Singh and Sangita Kashyap, who made the workshop highly engaging, practical and meaningful. Instead of limiting life skills to the commonly known skills, the workshop encouraged teachers to look at life skills from a wider and more practical perspective. The activities helped the participants discover many important skills that are needed in everyday life as well as in the classroom. The energetic participation of the teachers made the atmosphere lively and positive. The activities brought out the importance of skills such as adaptability, empathy, collaboration, self-awareness, problem-solving and effective communication in shaping confident and responsible individuals.
