Imphal/New Delhi, June 6 -- A seven-month-pregnant woman and her husband were among three people killed on Friday after fresh violence erupted in ethnic strife-hit Manipur, with two armed groups exchanging fire in Kangpokpi district. The victims were identified as Letkhongam Haokip, 34, a prominent church leader, his pregnant wife Tinmary Tuboi Haokip, 30, and 34-year-old Jangminal Haokip. Seven houses in the district's Loibol Khellen area were also set afire. A prominent Kuki outfit accused a Naga militant group of carrying out the attack.
