India, June 27 -- Pharmaceutical entrepreneurs Abhinav Garg and Mehak Aggarwal have launched their book Killing Cancer: 13 Secrets of the High-Stakes Drug Manufacturing World, offering an insider's perspective on India's pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. Drawing on their experience in oncology drug manufacturing, the husband-wife duo share practical insights into entrepreneurship, regulatory compliance, quality systems, supply chain management, leadership and manufacturing challenges. Structured across 13 chapters, Killing Cancer explores the realities of building and scaling pharmaceutical ventures in a highly regulated industry. Speaking at the book launch, Abhinav said that many entrepreneurs view obtaining a drug licence as the finish line. However, he noted that maintaining WHO-GMP compliance, supplier validation, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other regulatory requirements becomes increasingly demanding as businesses expand. Mehak said the book seeks to bridge the gap between public perception and the realities of pharmaceutical manufacturing. She observed that medicines are the outcome of complex decisions, stringent regulations and rigorous quality controls that often remain unseen by the public. The authors also highlighted India's role as a leading supplier of generic medicines worldwide. The book is dedicated to their daughter, Kaashvi, and to future generations committed to strengthening healthcare systems. HTC...
