Chandigarh, Oct. 9 -- As part of the nationwide campaign on intergenerational bonding under SAPSRC, students of Classes 6 to 8, accompanied by the NSS volunteers of Pandit Mohan Lal SD Public School, visited senior citizens' homes to commemorate the International Day of Older Persons. The visit offered students a valuable opportunity to connect with the elderly and learn from their experiences. The programme began with a pledge ceremony, followed by yoga, pranayama, and wellness sessions. Recreational games added to the lively atmosphere. Students then shared letters and messages of appreciation and entertained the elderly with poems, paragraphs, and riddles. Through warm conversations and the exchange of personal experiences, both groups formed a joyful and meaningful connection.
