One election bill: MPs may seek to curb ECI power to defer polls
New Delhi, Sept. 5 -- A number of lawmakers have expressed the need for the One Nation, One Election legislation to curb what they see as the excessive power the draft bestows upon the Election Commission (ECI), something that was highlighted by several jurists.
