India, Sept. 3 -- With rescue operations underway in Nepal during the devastating floods, actor-philanthropist Sonu Sood reached Kathmandu on Tuesday to help survivors. Speaking to us from Nuwakot, one of the "most affected areas", he says, "The situation on ground is not good. All relief camps are full of heartbroken people. Whole houses are buried under the slush." As the Trishuli River floodwaters turned into a violent torrent of mud, rocks and debris, one 40-year-old building stayed erect, dubbed the miracle green house. "I visited the miracle green house and met the family living in it. A lot of people have lost their livelihoods. Meeting those families, the survivors was heart-wrenching. We are trying to do a lot of relief work, from arranging food supplies, medical help to shelters," the 53-year-old says, adding, "It is important for us to come together in this hour of need. If you find any details or connection to some survivor, try to help them. Our charity is doing their bit."...
