India, Dec. 15 -- Actor Arjun Rampal has confirmed his engagement to longtime partner, South African model-designer Gabriella Demetriades. They made the announcement when talk of marriage came up on actor Rhea Chakraborty's podcast. Gabriella teased, "We're not married now, but who knows?" prompting Arjun to step in and say, "But we are engaged." Gabriella also spoke candidly about love and parenting: "Love comes with conditions. If the person behaves in a certain way, they get my approval or love. But when you have a child, you can't do that, right? It's not like I am going after him because he is really hot, or I hope he didn't say that about me." Arjun added with a laugh, "I went after her because she was hot. Then I realised there's a little more to it than just the hotness." The couple met through mutual friends and began dating soon after in 2018. They share two sons, Arik, born in 2019, and Ariv, born in 2023.
