India, May 19 -- Actor Mouni Roy and businessman Suraj Nambiar recently confirmed their separation after days of speculation. The couple, who married in January 2022, announced the news on social media. Amid rumours of extramarital affairs, disputes and alimony claims, Suraj has now issued a fresh statement denying all reports. In an Instagram story re-shared by Mouni, he wrote, "There is no alimony. There are no disputes. There is no third party involved." He added that they "chose to part ways together, with mutual respect," and called the reports "fiction" and a "deliberate attempt to vilify" them. Addressing speculation involving their friends, Suraj said, "Dragging other people into this is not cool. Especially innocent friends who have nothing to do with this."
