India, Feb. 11 -- I learnt about Malgudi Days in school, A show from long, long ago, When there was no internet, And Doordarshan was the only glow. My teacher told us stories of Swami and his friends, Running, laughing, having fun. I wished I could see that place, Where all the magic was done. Then one day we planned a trip to Agumbe, And saw the Malgudi House for real! My heart was beating fast and clear, Because the dream felt truly here. The big old house was right there, Just like in the scenes I saw. I imagined Swami opening the door- And it filled me with so much awe! I tried to picture the stories Playing in front of my eyes. Even though I'm a kid of today with mobile, games and screens, Visiting Malgudi made me love those simple, peaceful scenes. I'm happy I got to see the place Where Malgudi Days was made one day....
