Jalandhar, Aug. 11 -- Guru Nanak Foundation School had the privilege of hosting Colonel Ajay Kumar Tehlan, VSM, from selection centre ( North) for a motivational session that left an indelible mark on the hearts of students and staff alike. Colonel Tehlan, a decorated officer of the Indian Army, shared valuable insights from his journey of service, leadership, and discipline. Commissioned into the 18th Battalion of Jammu and Kashmir Rifles in 2001, he has held various command and instructional appointments and was awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal by the Hon'ble President of India for his outstanding service in counter-insurgency operations. Addressing the students, Col Tehlan emphasised the importance of patriotism, perseverance, and selfless service to the nation. His powerful words, rooted in real-life experience, deeply inspired the young minds to lead with purpose and character.
