IMPHAL, Aug. 30 -- Two people havebeen killed and six were injured in the last 24 hours during a clash between two factions of the armed underground outfit Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) - (ZUF-Jenchui) and ZUF-Kamson) - in Manipur's Noney district, with fresh gunfire heard in the area early on Saturday, officials said. Officials said local Meira Paibi (Women torch bearers) members and police personnel reportedly attempted to enter the area, but could not reach the spot due to security concerned. The deceased wasidentified as self-styled 2nd Lieutenant of the outfit Jangailung (29) of Muktina village, they said. The incident occurred a day after a clash between the two factions in Oktan village of Noney district. A man identified as self-styled chief secretary of ZUF-K Dingtiplung Gonmei, was killed in the incident. Meanwhile, there was no official statement from both the armed group....
