India, Nov. 11 -- Cancer Centers of America (CCA), Amritsar, in association with Amandeep Hospital partnership with Ujla Cygnus successfully organised the Lung Cancer Consortium 2025 - a two-day academic conference dedicated to advancing the understanding and management of lung cancer. The event was held on November 8th and 9th in Amritsar. The consortium brought together leading oncologists, pulmonologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, and researchers from across the country to exchange insights on the latest developments in lung cancer screening, diagnosis, treatment, and palliative care. "We were honoured to host the Lung Cancer Consortium 2025, which served as a collaborative platform for experts to share their knowledge and experiences in lung cancer care," says Dr Jagdeep Singh, Organising Secretary and Consultant Medical Oncologist. "Our objective was to enhance multidisciplinary learning and foster clinical collaborations that ultimately benefit patient care," he adds. The Organising Committee included Dr Anuj Deep (Radiation Oncology), Dr Sheshank Mahajan (Surgical Oncology), Dr Mandeep Singh and Dr Dilbagh Singh (Pulmonary Medicine), and Dr Navdeep Singh (Cardiothoracic Surgery). The conference featured keynote lectures, expert panel discussions, and interactive case sessions that emphasised evidence-based practices and innovations shaping the future of lung cancer treatment.
