Chandigarh, Aug. 27 -- Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sector-47 celebrated the 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. The programme was attended by the chief guest, Virender Singh, principal, KV Sector-47. The cultural programme included two dances, a group song, speeches by Raphael, Class 11 and Paricha Sharma. A patriotic song by Vaishnavi Singh, Class 10 and a patriotic poem presented by Pushkar, Class 10. The speech by little Twisha Sharma, Class 1 was a special attraction and was warmly appreciated by everyone. Sunish Sir, PGT computer science, delivered an inspiring speech. Chief guest Virender Singh, principal, KV Sector-47 addressed the gathering and emphasised the values of patriotism, unity and responsible citizenship.
