India, Oct. 10 -- Actor Katrina Kaif has spoken publicly for the first time about the trolling she faced over her postpartum appearance after attending the Ambani family's Ganpati celebrations last month. The actor was subjected to body-shaming on social media, with several users commenting on her weight gain following the birth of her son, Vihaan, in November last year. Speaking at an event in London recently, she said, "We need to be careful of letting the narrative on social media affect our self-worth and inner value because there are so many opinions out there." Reflecting on how criticism can influence personal choices, the 43-year-old actor added, "If you start catering to all of them, it really hampers your ability to make choices for yourself. Personally, if every time I face critique or comments, I let that dictate my actions, I think I would have been paralysed with fear and unable to move ahead in my life."
