India, Aug. 15 -- Marking 67 illustrious years in cinema across languages, veteran actor Kamal Haasan on Thursday gave a shout out to the new generation, calling himself "probably the oldest of the Gen Z in cinema" in a heartfelt post. In a lengthy heartfelt post on X, Haasan, 71, wrote, "Out of those 67 (years in cinema), I think I can only salvage about 20 years as my actual learning. The rest was going with the flow of the wastewater." He added, "Since the Lumiere brothers' first public film screening in December 1895, the film industry has been around for approximately 130 years and 8 months. My team reminded me that I have been around for 67 of those years, more than half of the entire history of the film industry! That is a rather extraordinary thought to take in. Yet, in my own account, I can claim only about 20 years as actual learning." Last seen in the 2025 film Thug Life, Haasan will be seen with Rajinikanth in Nelson Dilipkumar's directorial. Both stars teasing the collaboration since before the release of Rajinikanth's Coolie in 2025. Meanwhile, Haasan is also shooting for the sequel to Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD (2024), co-starring Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan.htc...
