JHARKHAND GOVT REACHES OUT, BUT STIR TO CONTINUE
Ranchi, Aug. 9 -- The Jharkhand government on Saturday held talkswith different groups of students protesting over alleged paper leaks and irregularities in recruitment exams, but failed to break the deadlock, with theagitators deciding to continue their stir.
The development comes as the protest over the paper leaks entered its 15th day on Saturday.
A four-member cabinet ministers' panel first met the faction of protesters led by JLKM leader Devendra Nath Mahto, whose fast over the issue entered its seventh day on Saturday.
