India, Oct. 14 -- J ung Hoyeon, the South Korean model-turned-actor whose sci-fi thriller Hope is set to release in India, has the country on her travel wish list and Bollywood on her radar. The actor, who shot to fame as Kang Sae-byeok, or Player 067, in the popular web series Squid Game, has a request for filmmakers here. I would love to be part of an Indian project, please call me, but you would have to teach me dancing!" she shares. The 32-year-old, who won The Actor Awards in 2022 for Squid Game, plays rookie cop Sung Ae in Hope, which also marks her feature film debut. It's more fun. Maybe because I have been a model, and I quite like expressing through my body and its movements." For all the confidence she brings to the screen, Hoyeon is candid about the insecurities that marked her early days as an actor. "I had a lot of insecurity and anxiety initially because I was so new to it all, but this was the first time that the joy of working overcame the fear," she shares. Looking ahead, the actor hopes to explore performing live on stage. She reveals, "I'm planning to do theatre maybe next year, but let's see. I cannot assume or be sure of anything right now,"...
