Panchkula, July 20 -- Hansraj Public School, Sector 6, Panchkula successfully organised a five-day drone workshop under the guidance of principal Jaya Bhardwaj to introduce students to the exciting world of drone technology through experiential learning. The workshop saw the enthusiastic participation of 45 students from Classes 6 to 9. Student mentors Neil, Kavya, Dhanya, Charvi and Navaansh, under the guidance of teacher mentor, Amit Gupta, conducted engaging sessions on drone design, aerodynamics, assembly, flight controls, safety measures and the practical applications of drones in agriculture, disaster management, surveillance and photography. Hands-on flying sessions gave participants an opportunity to operate drones and apply their learning. Appreciating the efforts of the student mentors and their teacher, principal Jaya Bhardwaj encouraged students to embrace emerging technologies and use innovation to solve real-life challenges.
