Govt designates 23 from jaish, let as terrorists under uapa
New Delhi, July 5 -- The Union home ministry on Saturday designated 23 terrorists of Pakistan based terror groups LeT and JeM under the provisions of the UAPA as part of its "Prahar" strategy to address emerging and evolving terror threats. Of the 23, 13 belong to the Lahore-based LeT and the rest to the Bahawalpur-based JeM. The list has 16 of Pakistani nationality and seven Indians operating out of Pakistan. The list includes Mohammad Shahid Faisal alias Zakir, the "online handler" of the 2022 autorickshaw blast in Mangaluru and the 2024 Bengaluru Rameshwaram Cafe blast.P6...
