GNFGS principal attends family welfare meet at MH
Jalandhar, Aug. 14 -- To celebrate the sacred occasions of Independence Day and Raksha Bandhan, a monthly family welfare meet was organised at the Military Hospital (MH) under the aegis of the family welfare organisation (FWO). The programme was presided over by Harleen Kaur, acting chairperson of the family welfare organisation and principal of Guru Nanak Foundation Global School (GNFGS), Jalandhar. Members of the family welfare organisation and other distinguished guests were also present on the occasion. The event was coordinated under the guidance and support of Brigadier Dharmendra Kumar, commandant (MH) and Colonel Bhupesh, registrar (MH).
One of the major attractions of the programme was the exhibition of rakhis handcrafted by the wives of Army personnel and a fancy dress competition for children. The children, dressed in colourful and diverse costumes, reflected the spirit of patriotism and the colours of the national tricolour....
