India, July 8 -- In a world where love is often sought in relationships, achievements and external validation, author and well-being coach Madhu Pandit believes the greatest discovery lies much closer to home. Her latest book, In Search of Love, I Became Love - A Journey of the Heart Through the Path of Devotion, invites readers to look inward, arguing that the love people spend a lifetime searching for already exists within them. For Pandit, founder of Inner Wellness and a certified spiritual life coach, the book is the culmination of a lifelong quest rather than a sudden inspiration. Although she completed the manuscript in about a year, Pandit says the ideas behind it were shaped by questions that had occupied her since childhood. "I was always fascinated by one question: What is true love?" she says. "Life's challenges and the imperfections we encounter in human relationships kept bringing me back to that question," she adds. According to Pandit, it was through nearly two decades of spiritual practice, meditation and devotion that the answer gradually revealed itself. Guided by her spiritual master, she came to believe that true love belongs to the Divine and that devotion offers the deepest understanding of human relationships. "When there is little understanding or maturity between two people, we naturally seek something more enduring," she says, adding, "That is when we return to the source. The Divine is true love." The book explores this philosophy through reflections on devotion, mindfulness and self-awareness, presenting them as practical tools for cultivating emotional resilience, gratitude and inner peace. Written in an accessible style, it seeks to make spiritual ideas approachable even for readers with no prior exposure to meditation or spiritual practices. Pandit believes spirituality is not about withdrawing from the world but transforming the way one relates to it. Respect for others, she says, lies at the heart of spiritual growth, while divine love enables individuals to rise above conflict, disappointment and emotional turmoil. "Meditation forms the core of this journey. By encouraging readers to pause, reflect and reconnect with themselves, the book aims to help them shift their focus from seeking happiness externally to discovering a more lasting sense of fulfilment within," she says. This is Pandit's second book. Her first, The Daily Pause: A Meditation Diary in Busy Life, encouraged readers to incorporate moments of stillness into their everyday routines. Her latest work builds on that foundation, delving deeper into the emotional and spiritual dimensions of human life. The book is available on major e-commerce platforms....
