Amritsar, July 16 -- An investiture ceremony was held at Excelsum High Senior Secondary School. It signified the reliance and confidence that the school consigned in the newly invested office. Donning the mantle of accountability, they pledged to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities. The excitement of the new council members was on cloud nine as they marched in with their heads held high, ready to shoulder the responsibilities as student leaders. Director/ principal of the school, Gunita Grewal invested the outstanding students with the duties of prefects and were conferred with the badges. The student council then took an oath to live up to the expectations and work with sync with the mission of the school. The principal congratulated the student council and said, "Students of today are the visionaries and torch bearers of tomorrow." She advised the office bearers to exhibit utmost sincerity and dedication in performing their duties. The school head boy Tanmay Gupta of Class 10, the head girl Rubaina Pandhi of Class 10 along with captains, vice captains of all the four houses, presidents and secretaries of five Clubs were conferred with badges, sashes and flags.
