mOHALI, March 16 -- Smart Wonders School organised a field visit to the Bird Park Sanctuary for students of classes 3 - 8 on March 11. Over 400 students participated in this educational excursion, which provided a hands-on learning experience that complemented their classroom studies in science and environmental studies. The sanctuary, home to over 200 species of resident and migratory birds, served as a living classroom for the young learners. During the twohour visit, students observed birds in their natural habitats, learned about their behaviour, understood migratory patterns, and appreciated the critical role birds play in maintaining ecological balance. This field trip was aligned with the school's holistic development approach, aiming to provide students with experiential learning opportunities that foster academic growth, environmental awareness, and appreciation for nature.
