India, Sept. 17 -- T he controversy surrounding English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran's tour took another turn on Tuesday as more artistes announced their withdrawal. The move follows American rapper Macklemore's removal from the tour after he shouted "Free Palestine" while introducing his protest song Hind's Hall at an event at MetLife Stadium in the US. Irish singer-songwriter Aaron Rowe, Irish folk band Beoga, Danish pop band Lukas Graham and American singer-songwriter Finneas all shared statements on Instagram, announcing they would no longer perform on the tour. In his statement on Tuesday, Sheeran had said the decision to remove Macklemore was made solely by the promoters.
