Chandigarh, May 20 -- Delhi Public School, Chandigarh, in collaboration with Chandigarh Traffic Police and SIP Academy, organised a special Road Safety Awareness Session for students of Grade 7. The session was conducted to mark National Road Safety and World Red Cross Day, emphasising the theme "Safety First, Always". The session was conducted by the team from Chandigarh Traffic Police comprising of C Naveen, C Prashant and L/C Rajesh. They explained the traffic signals, zebra crossing rules and the importance of wearing helmets and seat belts, through live demonstrations. Students participated in a brainstorming question and answer round on safe cycling, dangers of underage driving and pedestrian safety.
