Mohali, July 20 -- To honour the legacy of Nelson Mandela, students of Delhi Public School, Mohali conducted a thought-provoking class assembly on July 17. The assembly opened with a thoughtful introduction to Mandela's life - his early years, 27 years of imprisonment, unwavering fight against apartheid and his role in shaping a free, democratic South Africa. Through speeches, poetry recitations, and a short skit, the students brought alive the values of resilience, forgiveness, and equality. A special segment highlighted Mandela's belief that "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." Students reflected on how his life teaches us to stand up against injustice, embrace compassion, and lead with courage.
