Delhi Public School hosts its annual scholar badge ceremony
Chandigarh, May 25 -- Students of Class 10 of Delhi Public School, Chandigarh, proudly hosted their Annual Scholar Badge Ceremony and Class Show on May 22, 2026, celebrating the academic achievements of its high-performing students.
The programme commenced with a welcome address followed by cultural show- Jharokha: A Canvas of Emotions. The show was a heartfelt celebration of the many emotions that shape our lives - joy, peace, courage, fear. Through vibrant performances, music, dance, and drama, the students of Class 10 took the audiences on an emotional journey that reflected the colours of human experiences and the spirit of growing up.
Scholar badges were awarded as a mark of honour and motivation, symbolising the school's commitment to nurturing excellence and perseverance. The ceremony recognised students who demonstrated exceptional academic performance and excelled in sports and co-curricular activities in the previous academic year. School director Reema Dewan addressed the august gathering and expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the awardees and the students who had put in their best efforts to make this event a huge success.
The chief guest Shashi Prabha Dwiwedi, Indian Police Service (IPS), Special director general of police (SDGP), Railways, Punjab, graced the occasion by her presence and appreciated the students for their splendid performance and advised them to limit the use of social media. Kanwar V P Singh, provincial police service (PPS), superintendent of police (SP), Security and Intelligence, Punjab Prisons HQs, Chandigarh was the guest of honour for the function.The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a renewed sense of motivation among students to strive for excellence in their academic pursuits....
