DAV-8 wishes its students luck for board exams
Panchkula, Feb. 12 -- A grand blessing ceremony at DAV-8, organised a grand celebration titled "Tejasvi Bhava" to extend good luck and best wishes to the students of Classes 10 and 12 for their forthcoming board examinations. The event also served as a warm and memorable farewell for the outgoing students of Class 12.
The program commenced with a sacred Hawan, seeking the blessings of the Almighty for the success and bright future of the students.
This was followed by the lighting of the Lamp of Knowledge by the head of the institution, Ritu Dilbagi, along with other esteemed staff members, symbolising wisdom, positivity, and enlightenment.
Students of Class 11 extended a heartfelt welcome to their seniors of Class 12 by sharing fond memories and conferring titles upon each student, making the occasion both emotional and joyful. Addressing the gathering, the principal showered her blessings and wished the students success in all their future endeavours.
Adding grace to the celebration, the Class 12 students honored their respected principal and teachers by bestowing special titles as a mark of gratitude and admiration. The ramp walk by the Class 12 students was the highlight of the event, during which Mr DAV was awarded to Dhruv Jangra and Miss DAV to Lavanya of Class 12.
The cultural program featured melodious solo and choir songs along with graceful dance performances by students of Classes 10 and 11. Aakshi Verma was awarded as the most humble and cheerful, whereas Rupinder was awarded as the most regular and helpful students of the school.
Kaira and Mayra of Class 10 were awarded special prizes for being the best orators in English. The energetic DJ session further enlivened the atmosphere, encouraging everyone to dance and celebrate wholeheartedly.
The memorable farewell ceremony concluded with a lavish lunch, leaving behind cherished memories as the students prepared to step into a new phase of their lives....
