Panchkula, Sept. 24 -- As part of its experiential learning approach, Dass & Brown Experiential Learning School organised a supermarket visit for learners from KG to Prep 2 on September 15 and 17. The visit gave young learners an opportunity to connect the classroom concepts with everyday experiences and understand how learning takes place beyond the classroom. The learners were accompanied by their educators During the visit, students explored different sections of the supermarket, including fruits and vegetables, groceries, dairy products, snacks and household items. They observed and identified familiar products while discussing their colours, shapes and uses. The experience also introduced them to the basic process of shopping through choosing products, making purchases and understanding the process of payment. The educators encouraged learners to ask questions, make simple choices and observe how a supermarket functions. The visit also helped develop practical life skills such as following instructions, waiting for their turn, communicating politely and behaving responsibly in a public space....
