India, May 9 -- Actor Will Smith has secured a major legal victory after a California judge dismissed a sexual harassment and wrongful termination lawsuit filed by former tour collaborator Brian King Joseph. According to TMZ, Joseph, who worked on Smith's 2025 tour team, alleged that someone entered his Las Vegas hotel room and left behind wipes, beer, HIV medication and a handwritten note, which he claimed amounted to harassment and created an inappropriate work environment. He further alleged that he lost his job after reporting the incident to security and management. In a ruling issued on May 5, 2026, the judge stated that the allegations did not legally qualify as sexual harassment under California law, saying the claims were not "sufficiently severe or pervasive". The court also pointed to gaps in evidence, noting that multiple crew members had access to Joseph's belongings and hotel key for several hours. The wrongful termination claim was also dismissed after the court found insufficient evidence linking Joseph's dismissal to the complaint. However, the lawsuit was dismissed "with leave to amend", giving Joseph 30 days to revise and refile the complaint with additional evidence. HTC...
