Blue Bird High School celebrates Deepavali with great enthusiasm
Panchkula, Oct. 24 -- Deepavali, the festival of lights, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion at Blue Bird High School, Sector 16, emphasising its significance as a symbol of the victory of light over darkness and good over evil.
The celebrations featured a variety of creative and cultural activities, beginning with Rangoli making, where students showcased their artistic skills with colourful patterns.
Diya crafting using paper engaged students in eco-friendly artistry, while paper lanterns added charm and festivity to the ambience.
The door hanging torans and Shubh Labh hangings highlighted traditional decor, enhancing the celebratory spirit.
Furthermore, pairs of T-light candles were arranged symbolising illumination and positivity.
The school principal Vandna while addressing the students underlined the importance of celebrating a Green Diwali to protect the environment.
She urged everyone to avoid firecrackers, reduce pollution and use sustainable materials in their decorations.
She encouraged students to reflect on the deeper values of the festival-peace, harmony, and respect for nature-ensuring that the joy of Deepavali is experienced responsibly and mindfully by all.
