Blood donationdrive at DC Model Senior Sec School
Panchkula, April 21 -- DC Model Senior Secondary School, organised its firstblood donationcamp of the session, continuing its long-standing legacy of service to society.
A dedicated medical team from PGI ensured that the entire process, from screening to donation, was conducted smoothly and efficiently. Upholding its commitment to social welfare, the DCM Group of Schools once again led by example.
The school's managing director Bharat Bhushan Gupta, motivated everyone with his inspiring message. The camp commenced at 9:00 am with Vikrant, a devoted volunteer, becoming the first donor of the day and setting a commendable benchmark for others followed by Dr Parmila. From the school staff, RK Bhardwaj, Manisha Negi and Anubhav enthusiastically stepped forward, reflecting the school's culture of compassion and responsibility.Out of 225 nearly registered participants, 169 successfully donatedbloodafter thorough medical examinations. All donors were honoured with refreshments, certificates, and souvenirs as a gesture of gratitude for their selfless service.
