BLA in Bihar files 1st objection
DARBHANGA, Aug. 15 -- A booth-level agent (BLA) from the BJP in Bihar's Darbhanga district wrote to poll officials with a list of 655 allegedly duplicate entries in the state's draft voter list, marking the first such objection submitted to the poll watchdog after the first phase of the special intensive revision (SIR).
Laxman Kumar, BLA for the Darbhanga town constituency, wrote to the District Election Officer (DEO), submitting a list of names that allegedly appear in two or more polling stations.
