Bhavan Vidyalaya observes 77th Republic Day with zeal
Panchkula, Jan. 29 -- Bhavan Vidyalaya observed the 77th Republic Day of India on January 26, 2026, with a spirit of dignity, unity, and national pride. The celebrations were organised with the objective of fostering a strong sense of patriotism and civic consciousness among students. The school actively participated in the Republic Day Parade held at the Parade Ground, Sector 5, Panchkula, where the NCC cadets demonstrated commendable discipline, precision, and coordination. The school's dance troupe also presented a well-choreographed patriotic performance, which was appreciated by the audience.
The programme at the school premises commenced with the ceremonial unfurling of the National Flag by the Principal Gulshan Kaur, followed by the collective singing of the National Anthem. The Primary Wing observed the occasion through a range of thoughtfully planned activities, including recitation of patriotic poems, tricolour themed craftwork, bookmark designing, and the "Tricolour Tiffin" initiative. A special assembly was conducted during which students expressed their patriotic sentiments through poster making and slogan writing competitions.
On this occasion, the Principal Gulshan Kaur, extended Republic Day greetings to everyone and motivated the students to work tirelessly towards the cause of nation-building. She also congratulated Srishti Sharma, CBSE Class 10 National Topper, on the honour of being felicitated by the Hon'ble Governor of Haryana Professor Ashim Kumar Ghosh.
