Chandigarh, May 31 -- Leader of opposition in the Punjab assembly Partap Singh Bajwa on Friday dismissed reports that he walked out of a meeting convened by the Congress high command on Friday. Bajwa said he was the first leader invited to present his views and spoke for nearly 15 to 20 minutes on the political situation in Punjab, the functioning of the party and the strategy needed going forward. "I sought permission from the high command to leave after completing my remarks as I had to return to Jalandhar the same night.
