Chandigarh, Aug. 22 -- Sharda Savitrikari Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 40, celebrated the 79th Independence Day. The celebration echoed the theme "Naya Bharat", reflecting the vision of a prosperous, secure, and self-reliant India. The programme commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by President of our school management committe, Dhruva Kant Shukla along with the principal Archna Nagrath Ji followed by the singing of the National Anthem by teachers, staff, and guests, filling the atmosphere with pride and unity. In honour of the day, students showcased their creativity by making tricolour badges and flying patriotic kites, symbolising hope and freedom. Teachers presented soulful patriotic songs, capturing the essence of India's cultural diversity and evoking strong emotions among the audience. The event served as a tribute to our freedom fighters and soldiers, reminding everyone of their sacrifices and inspiring the school community to contribute towards nation-building.
