Hyderabad, Aug. 27 -- At least six people, including five women, died on the spot and several others suffered injuries after a private travel bus rammed into a stationary container truck from behind in Telangana's Suryapet district in the early hours of Wednesday, police said. The accident took place near Dorakunta village on the outskirts of Kodad mandal on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada national highway (NH-65). The private bus, carrying 42 passengers, was travelling from Hyderabad towards Vijayawada and Eluru when it crashed into the container truck at high speed. A case has been registered and officials are examining whether driver negligence, overspeeding or any other factor caused the accident. htc...
