5L Punjab youth to join PM's anti-drug drive, says Sahney
Chandigarh, Aug. 3 -- After Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan, Rajya Sabha member Vikramjit Sahney on Sunday said 5 lakh youth from Punjab will take a pledge against drugs. In a statement, he said his NGO, Sun Foundation, will start a statewide anti-drug campaign in Punjab. He said the NGO ran 12 drug rehabilitation centres in the state, where complete transformation of drug addicts was being done through yoga, meditation, sports activities and skill development for livelihoods.
