4 injured in stand collapse at Yash's Toxic event; police file case
India, Aug. 24 -- On Saturday, Cyberabad Police registered a case against the management of Malla Reddy University and the event manager after four people were injured when a sound-system stand collapsed at a promotional event of Yash-starrer Toxic.
The incident occurred at the university campus in Medchal, Hyderabad, while Yash was addressing a large gathering from the stage. A group of attendees climbed onto the elevated stand supporting the sound system to get a better view, before the structure lost balance and collapsed, sending four people to the ground.
"One student suffered a leg fracture while three others had minor injuries," a senior police official said. The sections under which the case has been registered have not yet been disclosed.
Videos circulating on social media show Yash stopping his speech after noticing the commotion. "Is it okay there? Please check... be careful. Are you safe?" he asked, directing the organisers to attend to those injured. The actor paused the event again after spotting another group attempting to climb onto a similar elevated structure and urged them to get down before resuming his address. htc...
