Panchkula, Aug. 26 -- Under the affectionate blessings and guidance of our inspiration, Padma Shri Punam Suri, the Arya Yuva Samaj of Mahatma Hansraj Public School, Sector-6, Panchkula, successfully concluded the four-day Vedic Prachar Saptah (August 11-14, 2025) held on the occasion of Shravani Upakarma. The event commenced in the school premises adorned with the OM flag and Vedic hymns, with a Dev Yajna Havan. Each day, from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm, the programme witnessed participation from the school fraternity, parents, local Arya members, and representatives from various branches of Arya Samaj Panchkula. The keynote speaker of the festival, Acharya Virendra Shastri, in his enlightening addresses, highlighted the glory of the Sanskrit language, the Vedic essence of the Gayatri Mantra, the significance of an ideal daily routine, environmental conservation, and the importance of diet, sleep, and celibacy for a blissful life. On the final day, he shared Maharishi Dayanand's thoughts on the true meaning of education and knowledge, stating that education leads to knowledge, knowledge to civilisation, civilisation to righteousness, and righteousness to self-control. The event was graced by members of local Arya Samaj branches and was highly appreciated by senior scholars of the DAV fraternity as well as respected members of the Arya Samaj. In her address, the principal, Jaya Bhardwaj, remarked, "In today's era of Artificial Intelligence, the need for such cultural events becomes even more significant. These programmes act as bridges to our rich cultural heritage and introduce students to the teachings of the Vedas in a simple and meaningful way.
