3-day Military Literature Festival kicks off
Chandigarh, Nov. 8 -- The 9th edition of the Military Literature Festival (MLF) got underway at Lake Sports Complex on Friday, featuring panel discussions, weapons display and book reviews.
Punjab governor and UT administrator Gulab Chand Kataria presided over the opening ceremony of the three-day literary event, which will conclude on Sunday.
The governor also unveiled Col Avnish Sharma's new book "Boots, Bonds and Belly Laughs", offering insight into a soldier's personality.
The festival, which is open to all, is also hosting an exhibition of military paintings and stamps, and interactions with Param Veer and Maha Veer Chakra awardees, along with regional dance performances, war movies, and horse and dog shows.HTC...
