10 booked for beating, robbing gurugram Man
Gurugram, June 1 -- Police have booked 10 people for allegedly assaulting a 32-year-old man and robbing him in Gurugram's Sector 14 on Friday night.
According to the victim, a resident of Rajiv Nagar, Sector 13, the incident took place when he was returning home from Sector 14 in an SUV driven by his acquaintance around 10.15pm.
When they reached New Mata Road, their car halted due to heavy traffic ahead and a vehicle hit them from behind.
According to the complainants, the suspects dragged him out of the SUV and brutally assaulted him with sticks, a steel container and a glass bottle, leaving him unconscious. When his acquaintance tried to intervene, he was also assaulted, but received minor injuries. His acquaintance called the victim's brother, who rushed them to a private hospital.
