cHANDIGARH, Oct. 8 -- As an earnest endeavour to serve humanity and illuminate the life in peril, the students and staff members of DAV-15 organised blood donation camp with the theme 'Share a little, Care a little, Donate Blood' under the guidance of Padma Shri Punam Suri, school chairman and president, DAVCMC, New Delhi and Nisha Peshin, director PSII, DAVCMC, New Delhi on October 03, 2026 from 9.00 AM to 2.00 PM in the school premises. The camp was undertaken under the aegis of Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Sabha, New Delhi and Arya Yuva Samaj, national president Yogi Suri with the joint collaboration of PGI, Chandigarh and Rotary, Chandigarh Mountview. Sourabh Joshi, mayor, Chandigarh, was the chief guest. District governor for Rotary Rita Kalra was the guest of honour. Principal Anuja Sharma and her team had been working fervently to make this mega event a success. As a motivating leader, she ignited the spirit among her staff and students to put in their whole-hearted endeavours for this humanitarian task. Many NSS volunteers, Alumni members, general public from the vicinity of Sector-15, staff members, students and their parents joined hands together under "Sehbhagita Theme" to support this noble cause. A team of doctors from PGI Chandigarh Dr Sanchita, Dr Ankur and Dr Ekta conducted the camp and ensured the safety of the donors.
