'Janmashtami' celebration at Hansraj Public School
Panchkula, Aug. 15 -- Hansraj Public School, Sector 6, celebrated Janmashtami-the birth of Lord Krishna-with devotion, enthusiasm, and vibrant cultural performances.
The festivities began with a special morning assembly where students sang soulful bhajans, filling the campus with spiritual fervour. An informative session followed, sharing inspiring stories from Krishna's life and explaining the festival's significance.
The school premises were decorated to resemble Krishna's birthplace, creating a festive and immersive setting. The youngest learners, dressed as Radha and Krishna, stole the limelight with a graceful dance performance that captivated the audience. Adding to the excitement, students enthusiastically participated in a lively dahi handi event, showcasing teamwork and festive cheer.
Principal Jaya Bhardwaj, addressing the gathering, encouraged students to walk the path of truth, compassion, and purposeful living.
