India, Aug. 21 -- Actor-musician Shruti Haasan recently spoke about personal choices, body image, and the relentless scrutiny women face in the entertainment industry. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, the 39-year-old reflected on the judgment she continues to face for being consistently honest about undergoing cosmetic procedures, including a nose job and lip fillers. "When I spoke up, I got comments like, 'Oh, yeh to plastic surgery ki dukaan hai.' But I know what and how much I have done, and how much more others have. That's the price you pay for honesty. It is okay," she said. Clarifying her stance, Shruti stressed that her choices are deeply personal and never meant to influence others: "I never promote it [getting plastic surgery]. This is my choice."
