India, Oct. 12 -- D espite being away from the stage for mandatory military service, SEVENTEEN member Hoshi is keeping fans entertained with new music. The 30-year-old K-pop star released his solo single, Boyfriend, on Saturday, drawing excited reactions from CARATs, as the group's fans are known. The R&B-pop track, co-written by Hoshi, whose real name is Kwon Soon-young, joins a string of solo releases since he enlisted in the South Korean Army in September 2025. The release also comes as Hoshi recovers from surgery following a serious knee ligament injury sustained while rehearsing for a military performance.
