India, Dec. 11 -- M usician duo Sachet-Parampara took to Instagram on Wednesday to call out singer Amaal Mallik for claiming ownership of the song Bekhayali from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Kabir Singh (2019), sung by Sachet and composed by them. Sharing a video, the duo said, "We have all the chats with the entire Kabir Singh team, because they were there when we created this song. Everything was done in front of (actor) Shahid Kapoor sir and (director) Sandeep Reddy Vanga sir. It is purely an original composition by us." The issue traces back to July, when during a conversation with podcaster and TV host Siddharth Kannan, Amaal claimed he had created musical references and compositions of Bekhayali on WhatsApp, which were then broken down into "elements" used to create the final song. He also said he had a deal for the entire Kabir Singh album, which featured six songs, but was ultimately limited to just one, Yeh Aaina.
