Royal family gathers for King Charles' nephew's wedding
India, June 8 -- King Charles III, Queen Camilla and other senior members of Britain's royal family attended the wedding of Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling in the southwestern English village of Kemble on Saturday.
Phillips, 48, son of Princess Anne and the eldest grandson of the late Queen Elizabeth II, married Sperling, a nurse with the National Health Service, in a church ceremony attended by more than 100 guests.
Among those present were Prince William, Princess Catherine, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, along with other members of the royal family. Sperling wore a high-neck lace gown designed by Emilia Wickstead.
Phillips is Princess Anne's son from her first marriage to Mark Phillips and is a first cousin of Princes William and Harry. He has two children from his previous marriage to Autumn Kelly. His engagement to Sperling was announced in 2025.
Crowds gathered outside the church to greet the wedding party. Despite heavy rain, guests lined the exit with umbrellas and showered the newlyweds with rose petals as they left the ceremony.AP...
