Reem Shaikh responds to trolling over her "ignorance" about Air India crash
India, June 16 -- Actor Reem Shaikh has reacted to the trolling coming her way after a pap appearance went wrong for her. She was spotted posing recently for photographers on the sets of a show, and one of them asked her about the Air India tragedy in Ahmedabad. The actor ignored the question and didn't say anything, this led to social media users calling her "ignorant" and "tone-deaf."
On Saturday, she took to her Instagram stories and penned a lengthy note, claiming her silence was misunderstood.

If I seemed distant, it wasn't because I didn't care. It was because I wasn't asked about the tragedy directly, and I wasn't going to start speaking about something so sensitive without being asked specifically. Lastly, I usually avoid standing and talking to the media. To those calling me insensitive, please understand - I can't bring myself to grieve publicly, in front of cameras, only to turn around and act carefree later. That's not me. It's not how I process pain," she added.. HTC...
